- Using CuteFtp
1. Click Start, Programs, then CuteFTP.
2. When CuteFTP opens it should display the "Site
Manager Window". If not, click File and Site Manager.
3. Click Cute FTP sites, and then click Add.
4. Within "Site Label" enter anything, which
will make you quickly identify your site.
5. Within "Host Address" ftp.yourdomain.ext>
6. Within "User id" enter your account username.
7. Within "Password" enter account password.
8. From "Login Type" select Normal.
9. From "Transfer Type" select Auto Detect.
10. Within "Initial Remote Directory" enter
public_html.
11. Within "Initial Local Directory" enter
the path on your local machine where your HTML files
are located.
E.G. C:\Desktop \your site\
Note: If you are unsure of you local path leave "Initial
Local Directory" blank
